RealTime GameTime was founded by Scott Bloom in 2009 on YouTube as another LP channel. The goal of RTGT is to play games with as little editing as possible on physical systems. The ultimate goal is to live stream games.

What kind of guides are provided?
Any. Speed runs, long plays, let's plays... as long as it's a guide, it's welcome here.

How many games are played at once?
It depends on the player. If the player only has time for one game, then they play one game; if a player can handle two or more games then more power to them.

What kind of games can be played for RTGT?
Any game from the Magnavox Odysee to the PS3 and beyond.

What are your views on emulators?
While it is preferable that retro games are played on their original systems, it is sometimes necessary to record footage from an emulator. If your retro system doesn't work, if your capture device doesn't support your retro system; you have friends who don't live in the surrounding area and want to coop a game or for a portable that isn't equipped with video output and doesn't have an adapter for a console.

Thoughts on games acquired before official release?
We will never go there. All of our games are played sometime after their official releases, unless they are demos.

What's RTGT's time frame for new releases?
It depends on the player. They may choose to record a game within an hour of its release or complete it on their own time before recording a walkthrough.
